Species Description

Aerides thibautianum is described as “a handsome Orchid is a free-growing species, with somewhat the appearance of Aerides quinquevulnerum; it produces, however, a very different spike of bloom; the spike is very long, with flowers rather laxly set upon it; sepals and petals of a beautiful rose colour, and the lip, bright amethyst. It is sometimes called Aerides huttoni. Native of Java.”
